Dopo una formazione ed esperienze lavorative in vari campi dall'arte all'architettura alla moda, Alessia Parenti alias Stella Cirquelar, come ama anche presentarsi per sottolineare le due personalità legate sia alla pittura che alla moda, realizza una serie di abiti che racchiudono il suo desiderio di alleggerire i confini dei diversi campi creativi e il tentativo di una loro comunicazione.
Ogni abito, che ha solo un lontano rimando a forme riconoscibili del vestire, è realizzato interamente a mano a partire da una forma circolare che viene elaborata fino ad ottenere l'oggetto finito. Ogni pezzo è diverso dagli altri.
L'invito è a giocare in maniera personale e creativa con queste forme. In pratica, indossandoli, ognuno può reinventare sul proprio corpo le creazioni di Alessia Parenti/Stella Cirquelar.
